That was a morning after a week I spent in the city for the aboard employment and I was really frustrated because I was not finding an appropriate job as I expected. After many inquiries, I got the information of a well reputed and multinational company named Landmark group is hiring for sales associates. Indeed beneficiary was not really impressive but the field of hiring was out of my experience and I had no choice rather than to catch the opportunity.
Somehow the day of selection of employees came and After a long waiting in the extra long queue, my turn came finally. I do still remember the one who attends my interview was a person without hair and really a humorous person. I tried to check him on the career of 2 years but i haven't seen him after that interview or I forgot who was him. well, that person i still do remember because i encountered on a really interesting event with him.
He took my basic information and my past experiences and asked just a question. The question was not difficult either was easy. He gave me a pen and told me.
First, I thought its not a big deal. After all, I was a teacher earlier so, I did. Think once if that question is asked to you what will you tell?
This pen is good, this is available in (X) number of colours, made in China, made with plastic that's all. Out of this if you have any opinions mention in the comment I will be appreciated. He carefully listened and finally, he told me that the way if my explanation was fine but still I lack many many things. Can you think what was those?
He said that retailing is not only the term of buying and selling. Instead of that retailing means the art of providing the goods to the customer along with a emotion, Story, satisfaction and a delightful memory. He said that also I have many possibilities of growth I can obtain in my career if I will take care of those factors. Ya`know if you are in the mood of Interview even message or information you will not be able to catch up it. It is a natural phenomenon. Well, after all, I got the job and during the duty days, I used to often remember his words what he means to say.
You know one day i talked with my manager on that topic. She is really a matured and practical person I had ever seen as a leader. I like her working technique and decision making. Her opinions are really minded tracking and convincing and I was the one who was trying to get her perception. I will publish it in next blog. That discussion was really outstanding and from that days onwards she becomes my idol person from whose I learnt many things.
