How to get driving license in Nepal?

Do you have driving license for Nepal?

It is very lengthy process to make driving license in Nepal. If you are new on this process you might spent a-lot of time for the processing. If you follow some tips on this process then it would be helpful to be speedy and save money as well. Just follow some tips on it.

Some essential document for the process are, your health report if you can get from your nearest health-post with your slight test,Blood group, your citizenship copy at least 2 piece and original one, your check applicant status print out, 3 piece of photos and a ball pen.

1. You need to fill your online form for license from www.dotm.gov.np with your corresponding zonal office.
2. When your application will be submitted you will get the message from the DOTM with the date of your processing.(Online form have limited quotas for Sunday to Tuesday).
3. When you will reach to the zonal office then you take the token of bio metric first.(Don’t forget this step when you reach to the office,Most time consuming step) if possible take at least 3 tokens.
4. After you take the token you move to the medical and perform the test what facilitator will ask for. Generally test will be for your vision, hearing and physical structure. You MUST recognize the three colors Red,Green and Yellow. (If you have the report from health post then you don’t need to perform)
5. Now move to the bio metric hall if you have already followed the step 1 then you just need to wait for your bio metric. I told you to take at least 3 tokens because if in case you missed your turn then you can use remaining. If you miss the bio metric then you need to take again.
6. After your bio metric you need to submit the fee.
7. Basically after the bio metric 12:30, 1:30 and 2:15 are the time for the admit card distribution so you need to collect your admit card for written examination. For the Mechi Zone until the next system.

When you will get your Admit card you need to move for the written Examination. Written Examination conclude 20 Objective Questions. I will mention what types of questions are Included on the Syllabus on next post.
