Yes, Question is the way by which you will be able to understand people. I can tell you there are three ways of questioning . Open end, Probing and Closing question. If you are a doctor, police, teacher, salesman or what ever you are. If you have to earn money then you need to face the people, you need to understand them and deliver the exact solution what they Pursuit. Let me explain it.
Consider you are a salesman and you will be looking for customer who will purchase goods from you. Remember what ever you are, You are not a single piece who lies as option, a lot of competitors will be standing outside if you cannot satisfy them. What degree of education you have, Who ever is your father, what ever amount of land your grandfather had earned that hardly matters if you cannot understand your customer and if they are not finding what they look for you are nothing my friend. A special rich Nothing I can say. When customer comes to you, they looks for respect/value, goods, satisfaction and best of best experience. Lets consider a customer is with you who is looking for a pillow of V shape and not able to ask what it actually called. First they look for the product either you possess or not and they will try to tell but they feel offended and keep their wish inside and try to escape the event. This is your examination how capable you are to provide their solution.

Above activity will make a sense how we can find the proper core of question. When a question was started it was open. There was not known topic on which we will ask. Probably it was place, person, country, chemical what ever. Then we start probing questions by filtering the questions and after we probe to the simpler form then we make a guess what answer might be.
I had encounter with a customer when I used to be in Home centre. I was working there as a salesman in Kitchen Section. A customer was looking for something what she was not able to tell, When ever I asked what she was looking then she just told she need something to put. She was Arabic tongued lady who was for an item which she could place it on the table to prevent damage with hot. I was new In country so that I thought I should handover someone and I should observe how to deal and I got Mr. Shivaji. He started to ask question, What she need actually? Either it is utensil?-NO, How you want to use it?- I want to put under, Is it table cover?-No, I want something to keep over it for hot, Is it placemat ?- No,” Then We have a trivet, would you like to see?”

That event was my first demonstration of Question. I am really thankful to Mr. Shivaji being my Mentor during my training period. If he will be reading my blog I should tell him I miss him a lot.
